prairieHOUSE is actively recruiting Energy Advisor subcontractors located outside of Winnipeg to meet the increased need for rural and northern home evaluations in Manitoba.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the environment, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving the performance of homes in Manitoba.

Part-Time Energy Advisor - CURRENTLY HIRING

We are currently seeking Registered Energy Advisors and junior Energy Advisor trainees to join our team to deliver existing and new home services in the areas of southern Manitoba, northern Manitoba, and the City of Winnipeg and surrounding communities.

Education and Training

prairieHOUSE Energy Advisors need to have – or be in the process of developing – skills and competencies in the following areas:

  1. Communication

  2. Administration (booking appointments, paperwork, etc.)

  3. Wood frame construction knowledge

  4. Building Science

  5. Computer modelling

  6. Physical requirements (This may include climbing ladders, working in confined spaces or in extreme temperatures, carrying heavy equipment, etc.)
