Our mission is to provide the highest level of integrity, trust, and expertise to our homeowners and homebuilders as they work to improve the quality and energy efficiency of our houses in Manitoba. We provide services ranging from EnerGuide Evaluations, diagnostic and forensic work to understand moisture and building envelope issues, to training and research for upcoming technologies and building science practices.

Gio Robson

prairieHOUSE is owned and operated by Gio Robson. Gio has been a leader in the building science community in Canada for the last 20 years. Starting out in Archeology, Gio was exposed to home renovations and home building early on and eventually started his career as an Energy Advisor.

Over those two decades, Gio has gained the respect and trust of clients across the homebuilding and home renovation community not only in Manitoba, but across Canada. Striving to constantly improve the way we build and renovate our homes improving their energy efficiency, comfort, durability, and ultimately their impact on our environment.

Anyone who has gotten to know him will know that Gio is an avid environmentalist. He has an intimate knowledge of building science, and the impact of greenhouse gases from building products and systems.
